Smart Destinations

Winning for me has been something that has come to me since I was a child. See my post about my first win. Recently I received an email that said I won a Smart Destinations card for the city of my choice. I chose the city closest to me as I don't plan on traveling anywhere soon or in the near future. Seattle is my closest locale. I got a 3 day pass to most of the tourist spots in Seattle and surrounding area. The prize was worth 89.99 can't beat that. It is a great win. Usually don't go to Seattle much for tourist spots, I possibly visit Seattle 3-5 times a year. I will definitely make use of my 3 day pass to Seattle.
The card came with a guide book letting my know what is included, what is free and open to the public, and where I can get discounts with my card. I have to use the card by the end of next year and once I start the card is only good for those three days. The savings are excellent! I cannot wait to go to Seattle. I probably will wait till warmer weather hits Seattle again. As today looks like another Western Washington day.

Spa for Ma--Win Updated

I won Beauty RX Skincare by Dr. Schultz during the Spa for Ma giveaway. The product I won was essential solar defense pads, spf 30, for face, easy to apply UVA/UVB protection. Blog designs

I have been diligently working on my blog with my future hubby all weekend and it has taken up a lot of time for posts or entering sweeps. I want to let you all know I have  been trying to make my page look professional and not like I designed it. I certainly didn't. That is where I leave you this week. I haven't been able to figure out why I can't get my photos to upload to my computer from my iPod. I will most likely end up posting photos from my cell which are going to be less than glamorous. There we have it! I promise to post more unfortunately all my posts are waiting for pictures so........ we shall wait and see. I will try to post daily if not more than daily. Thank you all,

How I got started

I was two years old. I was starting young :) Entered into a sweepstakes by my mom. It was a warm evening the sun was setting over the Florida sky. Turns out I won said giveaway! A family friend drove up in her big van, and when she got out I got to see what this big prize looked like. I was excited as a two year old to receive such a big thing.

I won a BIKE. A non training wheel bike. A big BIKE that I used for years to come. After I won this bike I immediately wanted to learn how to ride it. By the age of 2.5 I could ride my bike. My favorite thing was the ability to ride around the street. My bike was a prized possession that I still cherish in my heart. Unfortunately years later it was stolen after I moved to Maryland. Whoever got it hope they enjoy the as much as I did.

My best piece of advice

1. If you don't enter you can't win. So if you want to win something you have to enter. Now search for that perfect sweepstakes and enter it!
2. Read the rules! Super important a lot of people including me have not read the rules. Read them. I read the rules but sometime we all make mistakes.
3. Create a separate email address that you will check or know that you have a junk email address soon enough.
4. Check the amount of time you have to reply *most of the time it is in the rules sometimes though rules can be vague*
5. If it seems phishy it probably is. Resort to rule 2. If that doesn't work you decide.
6. If it asks for money for shipping it's not a sweepstakes or a giveaway.
7. Credit Cards are never needed!! Run away if you need them to enter!
